Our History
Our team of volunteers are committed to serving community organizations and churches. We are mostly Baptist Christians, who believe in God's grace and truth extended in networking, caring for the vulnerable, and supporting social and spiritual services and ministries. We take our convictions and turn them into supportive charitable solutions and direct actions.

Born 1971 from the ministry of First Baptist Church of Los Angeles, the Baptist Service Corporation is a separate Non-profit that has become a charitable non-profit that built "Vista Towers" senior housing. In 2019, BSC transitioned to charitable support of Baptist ministries and mission work, churches, social service agencies, and special programs that care for vulnerable communities.

To build good will in the urban community that will inspire neighborhood networking, and bring together the people, agencies, resources, administration, and planning needed to create a more cohesive and effective service network and a center that develops programs to meet the needs of vulnerable populations while also strengthening community support systems and healthy collaborative relationships.

Dr. Mary Ann Ross Executive Director
Dr. Ross has more than 25 yrs of executive management experience in Mental Health, Education, Corrections, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, and Permanent Supportive Housing. Dr. Ross has earned a Doctorate in Psychology, Master of Education in Instructional Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
